The State of South Dakota Department of Revenue is modernizing its title, vehicle registration, and dealer system
The system is called 605DRIVE. Any questions regarding the 605Drive project should be directed to Department of Revenue at 605Drive | South Dakota Department of Revenue
Buffalo County Treasurer hopes this transition will be seamless. Currently the project is in testing mode with plans to launch the new system in mid-February 2025.
On FEBRUARY 14, 2025, the DOR will go live. The Buffalo County Treasurer Office will be closed to the public on that day so the DOR can work on the computers.
