Commissioner District 3 Candidate Drawing

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. local time, a drawing will occur to determine the ballot order for the Commissioner District 3 candidates seeking that office and Buffalo County Finance Officer (Auditor/Register of Deeds) candidates seeking that offices.  The ballot order shall be obtained by draw of lots in which identical items will be placed into a container and the first one drawn from the blind shall be placed first upon the ballot, the next drawn shall be second.  The drawing will take place in courtroom of the Buffalo County Courthouse located at 112 Osman Ave, Gann Valley, SD. “Each candidate has the right to be present or represented when the arrangement is to be determined.”

This activity is open to the public and should last approximately 15 minutes.
